The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed similar works with specific value requirements. The bidder should have completed either two similar works with a total value of not less than 50% of the estimated cost, or one similar work with a value of not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Alternatively, the bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar nature of civil works, with options including three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, or one similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The experience will be updated by giving an 8% simple weightage per year to bring it to the current financial year price level. A work experience certificate should be issued, and it should not be issued below the rank of Executive Engineer. The bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar nature of civil works during the last 7 years.
