The Bidder should have Assessed Available Bid Capacity greater than the Estimated Value of the work derived upon by formula (2.00xAxN)-B. Here, A = Maximum Value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to Current Financial Year price level at the rate of 7% per annum) taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the work which tenders are invited. For each part period of less than or equal to 6 months, the value of N should be taken as 0.50. B = Amount of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of the project for which tenders are invited at the current price level. If the tender bidder participates in more than one bid, the bid capacity for the second bid shall be calculated by deducting the bid capacity required for the first bid. The formula for bid capacity is (2.00xAxN)-B.
