Bid Capacity
To determine the bid capacity required for the given tender, we look at the financial eligibility criteria.
For individual bidders, the average of Gross Annual Turnover should be at least 30% of the amount put to tender. The formula is: Average Annual Turnover ≥ 0.3 * Amount put to tender.
For Consortiums or Joint Ventures, the average of Gross Annual Turnover should be at least 90% of the amount put to tender. The formula is: Average Annual Turnover ≥ 0.9 * Amount put to tender.
Additionally, for a Consortium or Joint Venture, each constituent must have at least 20% of the tender value as their individual average of annual turnovers from business in any three financial years. The formula is: Individual average of annual turnovers ≥ 0.20 * Tender value.
Given the amount put to tender is 2,10,30,719.00, we can calculate the required bid capacity as follows:
- For Individual Bidders: 30% of the tender value = 0.3 * 2,10,30,719.00 = 63,09,216.00
- For Consortiums/Joint Ventures: 90% of the tender value = 0.9 * 2,10,30,719.00 = 1,89,27,647.00
Therefore, the bid capacity required for the given tender is:
- Minimum Average Annual Turnover for Individual Bidders: 63,09,216.00
- Minimum Average Annual Turnover for Consortiums/Joint Ventures: 1,89,27,647.00
And the formulas to calculate these values are:
- For Individual Bidders: 30% of the Tender Value
- For Consortiums/Joint Ventures: 90% of the Tender Value
The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid can be determined by the following formulas and values:
1. For a single bidder:
- Gross notional amount calculated from the Credential Certificate (CC) should be at least 30% of the amount put to tender.
- Average of Gross Annual Turnover of the bidder should be at least 30% of the Amount put to Tender.
- Bidder’s Net worth in any three preceding financial years should be positive.
2. For Consortium/JV:
- Sum of gross notional value of work in respect of the CC of individual entities for works of similar in nature should be at least 60% of the amount put to tender.
- Average of Gross Annual Turnover of each constituent of the Consortium/JV should be at least 20% of the tender value as their individual average of annual turnovers from business in any three financial years.
- The total Average of Gross Annual Turnover of the Consortium/JV should be at least 90% of the Amount put to Tender.
These values and formulas are used to determine the eligibility criteria for bidders to participate in the tender.
The bid capacity required to bid in the given tender can be extracted from the following conditions:
* Average of gross annual turnover of the individual bidder/Organization/consortium or Joint Venture for any three financial years within preceding five financial years should not be less than the summation of turnover requirements of the relevant individual serial of works for which the bidder intends to bid.
Formula: Average of gross annual turnover ≥ Summation of turnover requirements of individual serial of works
Additionally, for a Consortium or Joint Venture, the following condition applies:
* Each of the constituents must have at least 20% of tender value as their individual average of annual turnovers from business in any three financial years within the zone of last five financial years.
Formula: Individual average of annual turnovers ≥ 0.20 * Tender value
Answer:
The bid capacity required for individual bidders is 63,09,216.00 and for Consortiums/Joint Ventures is 1,89,27,647.00.
Formulas:
1. Average Annual Turnover ≥ 0.3 * Amount put to tender for individual bidders
2. Average Annual Turnover ≥ 0.9 * Amount put to tender for Consortiums/Joint Ventures
