In This Regard, Azerbaijan Is One of the Selected Countries Participating in the Greenvoyage2050 Project. the Republic of Azerbaijan Acceded to the Marpol Protocol of 1997 on 16 July 2004 (Entry Into Force 19 May 2005) but the Legislation Currently in Place Does Not Give Full Effect to the Regulations Set Out in Marpol Annex Vi. Owing to the Technical Complexity of This Annex, Additional Support Is Required to Ensure the Provisions Are Effectively Implemented Into National Law.
