Call For Proposals For The Individual Consultant To Compile The Gap Analysis On Seychelles Occupational Safety And Health (osh) Legislation In Relation To The Ilo’s Protocol Of 2002 To The Occupationa & The Main Objectives Of The Consultancy Are To: Identify And Review The Relevant Osh Provisions Of National Laws, Regulations, Policies, Etc. And Determine The Extent Of Their Alignment With The Provisions Of Two Unratified Osh Instruments, Namely, The Promotional Framework For Occupational Safety And Health Convention, 2006 (no. 187), And The Protocol Of 2002 To The Occupational Safety And Health Convention, 1981; Identify Whether And How Existing Laws, Regulations, And Practices Reflect And Comply With The Provisions Of Convention No. 187 And The Protocol Of 2002, And In So Doing, Analyse When Pertinent The Ceacr’s Comments On The Application By Seychelles Of The Ratified Conventions Nos 81, 155, 161 And Article 7 Of Convention No. 149; Identify The Legal Provisions That Would Require Reforming To Ensure Compliance With The Convention; Provide Clear And Specific Recommendations Regarding The Review Of National Osh Legislation, Particularly The Occupational Safety And Health Decree Of 1978; And Make Further Recommendations For Possible Improvements Both In Law And In Practice Based On New Developments Such As Psychosocial Risks At Work, Risks For Vulnerable Groups Such As People Living With Hiv & Aids, Persons With Disabilities In The Workplace, And Global Challenges Such As Pandemics, E.g. Covid-19, As Well As Gender Responsiveness In Relation To Issues Such As Ergonomic Designs Of Workstations And Exposure To Chemicals.
