The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having satisfactorily completed similar works of a specified magnitude. The criteria for eligibility include: - Three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar works each of value not less than 60% of the estimated cost, - One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost, all of which should have been completed during the last 7 years. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum. Specific values mentioned include Rs. 1,37,25,000.00 (for one similar work), Rs. 91,50,000.00 (for three similar works each). Additionally, for civil work valued between 1.5 to 5 Crore, a Graduate Engineer or Diploma Engineer with a minimum experience of 2 or 5 years, respectively, is required as a Project Manager Cum planning/ Quality/ Site/ billing Engineer. A Diploma Holder with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience can be treated at par with a Graduate Engineer, provided they do not exceed 50% of the requirement of degree Engineers.
