General: This Notice Of Intent (noi) Is To Notify Industry Of The Air Force’s Intent To Increase The Ceiling On The Roof Repair, Replacement, And Maintenance (r3m) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (matoc), And Gather Information From Industry, Specifically Small Business Roofing Contractors That Specialize In North American Industry Classification System (naics) Code 238160 – Roofing Contractors (small Business Size Standard Of $19m). The Ceiling Is Expected To Increase By $250 Million, From $325 Million To $575 Million. As A Result Of This Planned Ceiling Increase, The Ordering Period Of The Basic Contract Will Not Be Extended And Will Expire On 14 May 2025. in Accordance With (iaw) Far 15.201(e), The R3m Team Is Gathering Market Information To Understand If There Is Any Objection To An Increase In Ceiling From Small Business Roofing Contractors That Are Not Already On The R3m Roofing Matoc. Roof Assemblies Include All Items Of Work Included In The Elemental Classification Of The American Society For Testing And Materials (astm) Uniformat Ii B30. The Thermal Insulation, Vapor Retarder, Membrane, Drainage Components, Flashings, And Details (roof Edges, Scuppers, Parapets, Curbs, Drains, Coping Systems, Shingles, And Roofing Tiles, Etc.) Are Included In The Scope Of This Effort. The Features Of Work That Are Part Of The Structural Roof Assembly (framing (steel, Wood, Etc.), Structural Diaphragm, Decking, Purlins, Parapets, Roof Joists, Beams, Associated Hardware And Fixtures, Etc.) Regardless Of Material Are In Scope Of This Project. While Inspections Are Included In The Scope Of This Effort, The Specific Assessment Techniques, E.g. Thermal Imaging Or Unmanned Aerial System (uas)/drone Usage, To Include The Decision/approvals To Use These Techniques, Will Be Made At The Base/task Order Level In Accordance With (iaw) Relevant Air Force Guidance. the Astm Uniformat Ii B30 Features Of Work Incidental (in Terms Of Dollar Amount Related To The Direct Roofing Cost (labor, Equipment, Materials, And Subcontractor Markup)) Construction Activities Such As Asbestos Abatement, Hvac Disconnect/movement, Plaza Decks, Lightning Protection, And Walking Pads, Etc. Limitations On Subcontracting: The Contractor Must Be Capable Of Performing In Accordance With 52.219-14 -- Limitations On Subcontracting (deviation 2019-o0003) For Naics Code 238160. General Information veterans Health Administration (vha) Program Contracting Activity Central (pcac) Is Seeking Sources And Intends To Award A Firm Fixed Price Design Contract For Architect-engineering (a-e) Services For The Development Of Complete Construction Documents, Which Include Working Drawings, Specifications, And Reports, And Construction Period Services For Project # 663a4-24-703 Ehrm Infrastructure Upgrades At The American Lake Va Medical Center In Joint Base Lewis-mcchord, Washington. The A-e Services Contract That Is Anticipated To Be Awarded Will Be Procured In Accordance With The Selection Of Architects And Engineers Statute [formerly Known As The Brooks Architect Engineer Act], Federal Acquisition Regulation (far) Subpart 36.6 Architectural And Engineering Services, Va Acquisition Regulation (vaar) 836.6, And Va Acquisition Manual (vaam) M836.6 Architect-engineer Services. The Va Expects To Award The Anticipated A-e Contract In Late May 2024. the Anticipated Period Of Performance For Completion Of Design Is 324 Calendar Days After Notice Of Award (noa). The Vaar Magnitude Of Construction Is Between $10,000,000 And $20,000,000.
