The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years. The similar works can be either: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. The "similar works" refers to "Residential/Non-Residential Building works of any no. of storeys". The value of executed works shall be brought to the current level by enhancing the actual value of work done at a simple rate of 7% per annum. The average annual audited financial turnover for the last 3 years shall be at least 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder's prior work experience is required to be specifically mentioned on the Letter of Award and Experience Certificate. For work experience certificates submitted by the bidder, the proportionate experience to the extent of its share in the joint venture/consortium or work done by them shall only be allowed on submitting valid proof of their share/work done. In case of a company/firm formed after a merger and/or acquisition of other companies/firms, past work experience of the merged/acquired companies/firms will be considered for qualification, provided the company/firm continues to own the requisite assets and resources. The value of free supplies shall be separately certified by the employer or by a practicing cost/chartered accountant. However, work executed as a labor contract shall not be considered. Mentioned values and percentages include 40% and 50% and 80% of the estimated cost put to tender and 7% per annum for enhancing the actual value of work done and 40% of the estimated cost put to tender for average annual audited financial turnover.
