The required prior work experience for the bidder includes submission of completion/experience certificates for similar works executed. The bidder needs to submit details of similar work experience, including the name of the work, its location, type of work, name of the client, date and number of the completion certificate, date of start and completion, and final/approved value of the contract. The value of the contract should exclude items supplied free of cost by the employer, and the cost of such items should be separately mentioned. The total cost of the work, including the cost of supplies free of cost or at a fixed rate by the employer, should also be provided. The required prior work experience includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 400 crore, whichever is less. - Alternatively, two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 500 crore, whichever is less. - Or, one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 800 crore, whichever is less. The average annual audited financial turnover of the bidder for the last 3 years should be at least 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder needs to submit details of at least 3 similar works completed, along with the required certificates and documents. Note that for projects having an estimated cost above Rs. 1000 crore, "similar works" shall mean "Residential/Non-Residential Building works of any number of storeys". The bidder's proportionate experience in a joint venture or consortium shall be considered to the extent of its share in the JV/consortium. The value of executed works shall be enhanced by 7% per annum. The cost of work on completion, including the cost of supplies free of cost or at fixed rates, calculated as (X+Y), where X is the final/approved value of the contract (excluding items supplied free of cost by the employer) and Y is the cost of items supplied by the employer free of cost or at fixed rates, should also be provided. The amount of similar works completed should be at least 40% of the estimated cost put to tender, in terms of average annual audited financial turnover for the last 3 years.
