The bidder must have experience of having completed similar work during the last 7 years. The similar work can be either: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Additionally, the bidder should have completed at least 30% of the estimated cost of civil engineering construction works in the last 3 financial years. The definition of similar work includes flood management/flood protection works or civil work which includes RCC work. Completed work means either completed or completed to the extent of a minimum of 90% of the award amount, including unpaid amounts on account of paucity of funds. The value of executed work shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of interest of 7% per annum.
