The aim is the complete SAP-integrated processing of all processes and travel costs arising from a business trip. These are to be fully integrated into the existing SAP landscape. Travel booking is an exception to this. The process to be mapped extends from application, approval and budgeting through invoicing to proper taxation in payroll accounting, proper booking of travel expenses in financial accounting and causation-based posting in cost accounting. The travel data for a business-related trip would thus be recorded once and in full in one system, there would be no media breaks. Approval steps are to be mapped using electronic workflows. The mapping of electronic travel planning is not part of the project, but should be included in the consideration of the business processes. As a result, throughput times are to be significantly shortened, transparency significantly increased, administration modernized, paper-based processes replaced and synergy effects better utilized through an integrated system.
