The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience of having successfully completed works during the last 7 years with Govt./Semi Govt./PSU only. The experience can be in the form of three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender, two similar completed works costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost put to tender, or one similar completed work of aggregate cost not less than 80% of the estimated project cost put to tender. For specific types of work, such as building, road, sewerage, O.H.T., Tube well, Bridge, SPS, STP & electrification, only experience of similar works shall be considered. The bidder must submit evidence of satisfactory execution of works, which can be in the form of a certificate from the Engineer-in-Charge of the work. The bidder's experience is also assessed based on their past experience and financial position, with their performance being required to be good and their financial position being sound. The cumulative turnover will be considered for three consecutive years out of the last four assessment years, with a minimum value of Rs. 2.00 crore. Additionally, relaxation in work experience is also mentioned: if the company is owned by a Diploma engineer, a relaxation of 1 year in experience will be given, and if the company is owned by a Graduate engineer, a relaxation of 2 years in experience will be given. The value of similar works completed is required to be mentioned in the experience certificate, with the amount of work done against the agreement being clearly stated. In terms of specific values and percentages, the bidder's turnover should be above a certain amount, with audited financial statements being required for bidders with a turnover above 2.0 crore. The bidder's capability to execute works of a certain value is also assessed, with the value of the works being mentioned in the experience certificate. The specific values and percentages of similar works completed are as follows: - Works more than 1.5 Times bid value: 5% of the bid value, for works valued between Rs.10.00 Lacs and Rs.15.00 Lacs. - Works more than 1.5 Times bid value: 10% of the bid value, for works valued between Rs.15.00 Lacs and Rs.100.00 Lacs. - Works more than 1.5 Times bid value: 12% of the bid value, for works valued between Rs.100.00 Lacs and Rs.500.00 Lacs. - Works valued at Rs.500.00 Lacs and above: 2.00 Times bid value, 12% of the bid value.
