Plastering, painting, and drywall work in operational areas in building 200, Terminal 1; Frankfurt am Main Airport (built in the mid-1960s). Terminal 1 was the first main terminal of Frankfurt International Airport to be built in the mid-1960s. It is located in the north of the operational area and is approximately 12 km southwest of Frankfurt am Main city center. The project area is in building 200 in the operational area of the terminal. The technical center LZ01 is located in EU1, EU2, and with partial areas and an outside air intake structure in E01. The access route for the EU1 leads via the basement access road with restricted clearance, and for the E01 via courtyard gate 13. Level EU1 has a clear ceiling height of approximately 6.6 m, with a height offset to the access road of approximately -2 m. The project scope is the complete renovation/renewal of the system technology and the necessary structural modifications. The measures will be carried out during ongoing operations. In the ventilation center LZ01, the plastering, painting, and drywall work in the operating area is to be carried out by the following trades: cleaning and painting of wall and ceiling surfaces, painting of steel door systems, interior plastering work, WDV work with foam glass and rock wool insulation, cleaning and coating of the ceiling, floor, and wall surfaces in the floor duct. Construction work during ongoing operations and under difficult conditions regarding the installation density of TGA media lines, support installation heights, and confined spatial conditions. It is expected that 70% of the work will be carried out during daytime operations and 30% during nighttime operations. Scope of work: - Wall and ceiling cleaning and coating: 8,700 sq m - Steel doors (approx. 22) - Interior plastering: approx. 800 sq m - EIFS with foam glass and rock wool insulation: approx. 350 sq m - Floor duct cleaning and coating: approx. 940 sq m
