Section 901 Advertisement Forrest County, Mississippi Federal Aid Project No. Stp-8776-00(006)lpa / 107525/701000 The Forrest County Board Of Supervisors, Forrest County, Mississippi, Will Receive Bids For The Construction Of A Multi-use Path Along Classic Drive For A Total Project Length Of 0.898 Miles, Federal Aid Project No. Stp-8776-00(006)lpa / 107525/701000 No Later Than 10:00 A.m., Local Time, August 15, 2024, At The Forrest County Chancery Building Located At 641 Main St., Hattiesburg, Mississippi. All Bids So Received Will Be Publicly Opened And Read Aloud. The Work Shall Consist Essentially Of The Following Items: The Construction Of Approximately 4,742 Linear Feet Of 10 Foot Wide, 4-inch Thick, Concrete Multi-use Path Along The North Side Of Classic Drive From Pine Tree Drive To Beverly Hills Road, And Along The South Side Of Classic Drive From Beverly Hills Road To The East Side Of Golf Course Road. Together With All Other Related Items Of Work Required To Complete The Project As Shown And Specified In The Contract Documents. The Above General Outline Of Features Of The Work Does Not In Any Way Limit The Responsibility Of The Contractor To Perform All Work And Furnish All Plant, Labor, Equipment And Materials Required By The Specifications And The Drawings Referred To Therein. The Attention Of Bidders Is Directed To The Contract Provisions Governing Selection And Employment Of Labor. Minimum Wage Rates For Federal-aid Projects Have Been Predetermined By The Secretary Of Labor And Are Subject To Public Law 87-581 Work Hours Act Of 1962, As Set Forth In The Contract Provisions.
