Details: The Cooperative Society of Agricultural Collective Interest of Market Gardeners of Martinique (sica 2m), created in 2008, brings together more than 200 planters cultivating nearly 200 hectares in market gardening and food production for an annual production of more than 900 tonnes of fresh fruit and vegetables Distributed throughout the Martinique territory. Sica 2m ensures the defense of fruit and vegetable producers in Martinique. It aims to sustainably control the development of the agricultural production of its members, to strengthen the commercial organization of producers, to organize and sustain production in the territory of Martinique. In 2022, the management of Sica 2m asked Vivea to conduct an analysis of the skills needs of its members. The first phase of this study, conducted with Sica managers and technicians, made it possible to identify some concerns identified during members' support actions: • Well-being at work, combining professional and personal life • Administrative management, Mastery of IT tools • Accounting, Economic management, Profitability Their analysis led to the determination of several issues whose interest could be corroborated by a direct survey carried out among members at the beginning of 2023.

Details: The management of water resources is a major issue for food sovereignty, particularly in the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region. Depending on the territory, water and hydrological balances are contrasted and have strong impacts on systems: access and efficient management of water resources, disruption of water and plant cycles. Extreme climatic incidents which degrade the system accentuate the artificialization of soils whose retention capacity is weakened. Non-irrigated sectors are subject to difficult production conditions, and new needs may arise for crops that are usually little or not irrigated. Conversely, 20% of the Sau is irrigated, which partially secures access to water in these territories and should guarantee a certain level of production. However, the irrigation needs of currently irrigated crops are increasing due to more intense droughts and the calibration of irrigation equipment is often approximate and not very efficient. Tensions between users are strengthening and becoming acute, imposing drastic regulations and restrictions in places. Agriculture, in Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur, benefits from recognized regional expertise and transferable skills. Technologies for Precision Piloting Are at the Point. Increasingly Experimental Agroecological Approaches Are Proven. Optimizing water resources is therefore possible, but the adaptation solutions are numerous and complex. Faced with this context, the Vivea Paca Committee is launching this specific call for tenders in support of a global project aimed at strengthening the resilience of their system.

Farms are opening up more and more to the public, farmers are showing themselves more and more on social networks, events aimed at bringing together citizens and stakeholders in agriculture are increasing and professional managers are regularly contacted by The Media. So many situations in which the quality and relevance of communication are decisive. It is becoming essential for agricultural business managers to know how to both listen to the questions asked and communicate in an enthusiastic, efficient and fluid manner, regardless of the communication medium used. It is clear that currently, they are little accustomed to practicing this exercise while their “detractors” know perfectly well how to use the means and techniques of communication. This call for tenders follows the specific call for tenders “Communicating about your profession” launched by the Upper Normandy Territorial Committee in 2020, immediately taken up by the Lower Normandy Territorial Committee which ended on December 31, 2022. This call for tenders did not make it possible to mobilize training organizations and trainees, yet this theme remains relevant. This is why the Normandy Regional Committee has decided to continue its reflections by launching a second call for tenders to develop a training offer in positive communication and dialogue in connection with Priority 1 of the 2021-2026 Strategic Plan which provides for this Training Development Axis: Improving dialogue with society and the attractiveness of professions.
