Prequalification are invited for National Fall Armyworm (CLA) Consultant Duties and Responsibilities The CLA national consultant will carry out the following tasks: Participate in national and regional project workshops. Carry out the assessment of the current situation, providing baseline data on the Fall Armyworm and its preventive measures applied in the country. Facilitate training and awareness sessions for phytosanitary technicians and other actors in the country. Coordinate the development of FAW surveillance and control action plans in the country. Track the distribution of monitoring equipment (traps) and field data collection using the FAMWES application. Contribute and lead the implementation of project field activities related to survey and control operations. Provide technical advice, training and guidance on FAMEWS mobile application and global platform, prevention and management to stakeholders. Prepare training and awareness materials on the FAMEWS mobile application and global platform, prevention and management, and ensure that all training materials are disseminated at the national level. Lead in-country monitoring activities in line with national action plans Liaise with stakeholders as needed to promote awareness of FAW and FAW surveillance activities, including building their capacity to use data to guide decision-making.
