1.0 Purpose/scope this Presolicitation Notice Is To Seek Additional Sources And Notify Industry Of The Government’s Intent To Negotiate With Only One Source For The Procurement And Refurbishment Of A Powder Booth For The United States Marine Corps (usmc), Marine Corps Logistics Command (marcorlogcom), Marine Depot Maintenance Command (mdmc) Located At Albany, Georgia. The Powder Booth Is Considered To Be A Commercial Item. The Intended Source Is Southern Fluid Systems, Inc. The Government Is Pursuing A Non-competitive Action Under The Authority Of Far 13.501(a)(1). as Part Of Its Market Research, The General Services Administration (gsa), On Behalf Of Its Customer, Is Issuing This Sources Sought And Notice Of Intent To Determine If There Exists An Adequate Number Of Interested And Qualified Contractors Capable Of Performing The Requirement As Described. The Government May Use The Responses To This Sources Sought For Information And Planning Purposes. The Technical Specifications Describe Only The Currently Contemplated Possible Specifications And May Vary From The Actual Specifications Identified In Final Product Descriptions Included In Any Request For Quote (rfq). this Sources Sought Is Only For The Purpose Of Identifying Potential Sources As Part Of Gsa’s Market Research. No Rfq Currently Exists; Therefore, Do Not Request A Copy Of The Rfq. Please Note, Gsa Is Not Required To Use The Open Market For Any Resulting Rfq.
