The bidder is required to have prior work experience in similar works. For subcontracting, the subcontractor should have completed at least one work similar to the proposed work, with a value of not less than 35% of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience is required. In another scenario, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works in the last 7 years, with specific value requirements: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value. For composite works, the same percentages apply to each component of the tender. A work experience certificate from a public listed company with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years is also considered, provided it is issued by an authorized person. Relevant documents, including work orders and payment details, must be submitted to support the work experience certificate.
