The required prior work experience for the bidder includes substantially completed work, where payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor, and no proceedings of termination of contract on contractor's default have been initiated. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following works during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The value of the final bill, including the Price Variation Claim (PVC) amount, if paid, shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, if paid, shall be considered as the completion cost of work. For substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, if paid, as mentioned in the certificate, shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work. A specific percentage of similar work experience is required, such that the bidder should have completed similar nature of work, which is "Any Civil Engineering work involving RCC work." The amount and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender for three, two, and one similar works respectively.
