The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works with specific value and percentage requirements. The bidder should have completed one of the following: - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Two similar works, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Three similar works, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The cost of previous completed works will be given a simple weightage of 7% per year to bring them to the current price level. In the case of a joint venture, the experience of individual partners can be combined to meet the qualification criteria. The estimated cost put to tender is also a crucial factor in determining the required prior work experience. Additionally, the average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost put to tender, with financial turnover given a weightage to bring them to the current price level by adding 7% for each completed year. The bidder must have prior work experience of having successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years. The experience requirements for joint ventures participating in bids with estimated costs above Rs. 2.0 Crores will be fulfilled by the JV, including having experience of having completed successfully a single work of similar nature equal to 80% of the estimated cost put to tender, or completion of two works of similar nature each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender.
