The required prior work experience for the bidder includes execution of any Civil Engineering works. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. In case of subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The value of the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. If the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid), shall be considered as the completion cost of work. For substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid), as mentioned in the certificate, shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work. For a public listed company, the work experience certificate is considered if the company has an average annual turnover of Rs.500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years, excluding the current financial year. The mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work - Rs.500 crore average annual turnover for a public listed company.
