East Coast Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works in the last 7 years. The required prior work experience can be demonstrated through one of the following categories: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Additionally, for tenders having an advertised value up to Rs 50 lakh, no prior work experience is required. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, but this requirement is waived for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. The bidder should submit relevant documents to support the work experience certificate. A work is considered "Substantially Completed" if payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor.
