The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing specific categories of work during the last 7 years. These categories are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have completed works with values of at least 30%, 40%, or 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder is required to submit a list of completed works for similar nature of work, which must include description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award, date of scheduled completion of work, date of actual start, actual date of completion, and final value of contract at the time of bill finalization. The bidder must have experience in works such as earthwork in excavation, providing and laying plain cement concrete, and providing and laying machine-batched cement concrete. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no previous work experience is required for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh.
