East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. Additionally, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The bidder must provide a list of completed works being submitted for fulfillment of eligibility criteria for similar nature of work. The tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or V, whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees, and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. The values and percentages mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for three similar works, - 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for two similar works, - 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for one similar work, - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subcontractors, - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work with no previous work experience required.
