Department Of The Interior (doi) And Us Department Of Agricultural Forest Service (usfs) Requires Behavior Health Support Services For Wildland Fire Positions The Doi And Usfs Employs Who Endure Months Of Irregular Hours, Exposure To Intense Environmental Conditions, Challenges To Family And Personal Life And Increased Risk Of Mental And Physical Harm. The Agencies That Fall Under The Doi (bureau Of Land Management, National Park Service, Fish And Wildlife Service And Bureau Of Indian Affairs) And Usfs Are Working To Establish A Joint Wildland Firefighter Behavioral Health Program That Includes Various Components ¿ Including Access To Counseling And Training Services To Support Wildland Firefighters.responses Are Sought From Interested Businesses Capable Of Offering These Services On A National Scale.this Announcement Is Issued Solely For Information And Planning Purposes.
