Afrl Ground Test Ranges Are Responsible For Testing Of Developmental Technology Created To Support Warfighters Across Dod, Including Doe And Other Government Agencies. It Is Vital To Keep All Aspects Of The Ground Test Ranges Operational. Equipment Maintenance For Vertical Mills, Mini Mills, Lathes, And Water Jet Machines. These Pieces Of Equipment Are Vital To Fabricating And Modifying Test Articles Requested By Customers, Test Engineers, And Range Personnel. Having A Maintenance Contract For Servicing Allows Machines To Stay Operational. Plus, Requested Articles Are Built Onsite Versus Offsite To Locations That Might Not Understand The Full Mission. Additionally, During Active Test, Sometimes Modifications Of Items Are Required And Permits Testing To Continue On-schedule.
