Description The Department Of Tourism Xii (dot Xii), Through The General Appropriations Act Of 2022, Intends To Apply The Sum Of Three Hundred Thousand Pesos Only (php 300,000.00) Inclusive Of Taxes, Delivery Or Shipping Fees And Other Incidental Charges Being The Approved Budget For The Contract (abc) For The Payment Of Sox (soccsksargen) Tourism Social Media Marketing Anent, The Department Of Tourism Xii Is Requesting Quotations For The Service Hereunder Specified: Activity : Sox Tourism Social Media Marketing Date : July – December 2022 Background The Nature Of Travel And Tourism Has Changed Drastically Since The Global Pandemic Of Covid-19. This Has A Negative Impact Not Only On International Travel, But Also On The Local Scene, Especially Small Players In The Tourism Arena. With Most Individuals Being Encouraged To Take Extra Care While Going Out, The Use Of Social Media Has Increased Significantly As A Medium For Not Only Expressing Thoughts But Also Promoting And Marketing Goods And Services, Including Those In The Tourism Industry. In This Sense, The Concept Of Social Media In Tourism Is Critical For Raising Awareness And Connecting Tourism-based Companies With The Public, Or Customers. As A Result, It Is Past Time To Realize Its Full Potential In Terms Of Promoting And Marketing Our Local Tourism In The Soccsksargen Region Covering The Four (4) Provinces Of Sarangani, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, And Cotabato Province And The Cities Of General Santos, Koronadal, Tacurong, Cotabato, And Kidapawan. Scope Of Work Dot 12 Invites Bids From Competent Firms Or Individual Consultants From Soccsksargen Region Particularly From Koronadal City To Submit Their Expression Of Interest For Consultancy Services To Provide The Following Services For The Provinces Of Sarangani, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Cotabato Province, And The Cities Of General Santos, Koronadal, Tacurong, And Kidapawan: No. Items Description Maintenance Of Sox Social Media Account And Creative Multimedia Contents Include But Not Limited To Short Video Features, Photos, Vlogs, And Feature Write-ups. 1 Official Social Mediaaccounts The Campaign Will Utilize The Top Social Media Platforms Namely; Facebook Andinstagram. Other Social Media Platforms To Consider Would Include Twitter And Tiktok. 2 Contentcreation A Monthly Social Media Calendar Will Be Created In Order To Establish A Guide In Posting And Management Of Socia Lmedia Accounts.this Will Also Make Sure That The Actions Taken Will Positively Influence And Capture The Attention Of The Audienc And Create A Strong Online Presence. Sub-topics Or Feature Guides Will Be Created To Highlight Specific Attributes Of The Tourism Spectra Of The Region. This Includes But Not Limited To: Flavors Of Sox - Cuisine And Food Features Tausox– Focus On The People And Culture Sox Outdoors /sox Moto Adventures– Adventure Activities And Destinations, Wildlife (flora And Fauna) Treasures Of Sox - Features Local Products, Trends, Pop Lifestyle Sox Fiesta - Events, Tourism-related Happenings Sox Moto Adventures Dive Sox Colors Of Mindanao 3 Sample Content Plan A Strong Social Media Presence Is Made Through Sharing Relevant, Well-curated, And Highly Engaging Content To The Audience In A Consistent Manner. For The First 2 Months: Daily Posting (once A Day) For The Next Succeeding Months: Thrice A Week Or As Needed. 4 Social Media Engagement Creating Impactful Content Is A Good Thing. Making Your Audience Engaged As Much As Possible Is Another. To Help Keep The Audience More Connected And Engage, Several Activities Will Be Rolled Out. This Includes But Not Limited To: Triviagames Photocontests Video Challenges Influencer Of The Month Prizes To Be Given To The Winners Can Be Monetary Or To Be Sponsored By Affiliated Tourism Establishment/destination (i.e Gift Certificates, Monetary, In-kind) The Team Will Be In-charge In Maintaining The Existing Visit Sox Facebook Page And Create All Relevant And Branded Contents For The Whole Duration Of The Campaign/contract. This Includes But Not Limited To: 12 Static Posts Per Month (with Exclusion To The First 2 Months As Posting Will Bedaily) 3 X 30 Seconds To 2 Minuntes Feature Videos/month. Moreover, The Team Can Also Cover Tourism-related Events Such As Festival Features, Program Launches, Cultural Performances, Site Visits, Etc. All Contents Produced From These Events Will Be Posted In The Official Social Media Account For Promotion. The Team Will Be Composed Of: 2 Videographers 1 Photographer 1 Researcher/writer/social Media Manager Assignment Duration And Reporting The Task Is Expected To Be Completed Until December 2022, Inclusive Of Field Visits And Editing From The Date Of Signing Of The Contract. All Travel Expenses Such As Transportation, Accommodation, And Meals Expenses Within The Said Cities And Provinces Of Soccsksargen Will Be Covered By The Consultant. The Consultant Will Take Full Responsibility For The Technical Part Of The Video And Photo Production Including The Shooting And Conduct Of Interviews And Sourcing Of Royalty-free Music To Accompany The Video, If Needed. The Consultant, Therefore, Is Required To Prepare And Submit The Entire Plan In A Way That Allows The Achievement Of All Deliverables Within 14 Working Days Period. The Consultancy Will Be Managed Administratively By The Department Of Tourism 12 Particularly The Promotion And Marketing Section. Direct Day To Day Supervision Of The Consultancy Will Be Under The Project Managers; While Working Collaboratively With Tourism Officers And Other Tourism Stakeholders Of The Provinces Of Sarangani, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, And Cotabato And The Cities Of General Santos, Koronadal, Tacurong, And Kidapawan City. All Reports And Other Communications Will Be Addressed To The Regional Director Or As Otherwise Agreed Between The Consultant And Dot 12. Item Requirements: Under The Supervision Of The Dot 12, The Consultant Will Be Required To: Maintenance Of Sox Social Media Account – The Visit Sox Fb Page Capture High Resolution Images And Videos Of Dot 12’s Project Activities In Various Parts Of The Region To Provide Context And Impact Of Dot 12 Digital Promotion And Marketing In The Philippines And International Markets As A Whole. Caption And Create A Content Of Each Photograph/video With Specific Details Such As The Location Taken, Name Of The Person (for Portraits), Activity And Any Other Relevant Information. Provide Dot 12 With At Least 500 High Quality Photographs From All The Projects. The Copy Right For All These Photographs And Videos Remains With Dot 12. Document Case Studies And Human-interest Stories That Capture The Impact Of Dot 12’s Programming As Shall Be Guided By The Program Teams. Documenting Partnership With Government And Ngo Partners. Narratives Of Context Within Which Dot 12 Works. Documenting The Impact Of Collaboration Of Dot 12 With Its Tourism Stakeholders Produce Program Specific Video Clips Illustrating Areas Of Focus On Promotion And Marketing Produce A Content And High Resolution Images And Videos Of All The Ready And Emerging Tourism Sites In Soccsksargen Region. Skills, Experience And Qualifications Required: You Have Five Years Progressive Experience With Similar Assignments In A Development Or Humanitarian Context You Have Extensive Experience In Producing Development Work Related Documentaries With The Aim Of Reaching Both Local And International Audiences You Are Available And Have Willingness To Travel To The Rural/urban Areas. You Can Work In Close Coordination With Other Team Members. Your Possession Of A Degree Or Diploma Or Training In Photo Journalism Will Be An Added Advantage. You Have Excellent Technical Capacities (state Of Art Filming Equipment Preferably High Definition) To Ensure High Quality Production. You Have Excellent Writing Skill With Previous Experience In Documenting Human Interest And Development Work Payment Terms: Suppliers Will Submit Delivery Invoice To Department Of Tourism Xii. The Invoice Amount Should Match With The Purchase Order (p.o.) Amount Issued By The Supplier. The Payment Will Be Made In Check Address To The Supplier. Dot 12 Shall Provide Necessary Support To The Consultant To Execute The Assignment During The Duration Period Of The Consultancy And Payment Will Be Done On A Monthly Basis. Confidentiality It Is Expected That The Selected Individual Will Uphold Professionalism, Ethical Values And Norms While Maintaining The Highest Level Of Confidentiality To The Information Provided Before, During And After The Completion Of The Assignment.
