And Also Dot Is The Primary Government Agency Charged With The Responsibility To Encourage, Promote And Develop A Tourism As A Major Socio-economic Activity To Generate Foreign Currency And Employment And Spread The Benefits Of Tourism To A Wider Segment Of The Population With The Support, Assistance And Cooperation Of Both The Private And Public Sector And To Assure Safe, Enjoyable Stay And Travel Of Foreign And Local Tourists In The Country. In Today's Digital Age, Where Everyone Is Aimed With Smartphone Camera, The Power Of Visual Communication Has Never Been More Prominent. Social Media Platforms Allows People To Access Information In Real Time, To Connect With Others, And To Find Niche Communities. As Its Best, It Makes The World More Interconnected. According To The Social Media Demographics Guide Magazine, Facebook Has 2.7 Billion Monthly Active Users During 2022, While Snapchat Has The Least Number Of Users With Only 381 Million. Furthermore, The Department Of Tourism Davao Region With Its Effort In Promoting The Davao Region Tourism Products And Services To Capture Wider Scale Of Target Markets Will Hire Again A Service Provider For The Social Media Content Creation And Full Service Management To Help The Department Maintain And Further Enhance Online Activities And To Deliver Up To Date And Relevant Messages Across The Globe. With The Agency's Initiative, Virtual Platforms/social Media Is One Of The Most Effective Ways To Build Marketing Strategies And Create A Solid Online Reputation To Send Right Messages To The Right Places To The Right People Or Market To Create Brand Reputation Of Davao Region And To Boost Tourism In The Region Both Domestic And International. The Primary Objectives Of The Project Aims: A) To Implement A Marketing Communication Program For Davao Region Through The Development Of Photo And Avp Showcasing Heritage Places, Food And Cultural Treasures, And Adventure Tourism B) Capture Amazing Photography And Videography That Would Follow The Davao Region Branding Guidelines; C) To Showcase Davao Region's Competitive Tourism For Both Domestic And International Markets. The Department Of Tourism Is The Primary Planning, Programming, Coordinating, Implementing, And Regulatory Government Agency In Development And Promotion Of The Tourism Industry, Both Domestic And International. Services Of A Social Media Management Of Dot Xi Social Media Platforms A. Service Provider The Service Provider Must Provide The Following: 1. Two (2) Social Media Officers A) Social Media Manager B) Content Creator 2. Account Management And Coordination 3. Social Media Management 4. Documentation For Social Media 5. Hi-resolution Photos Of Tourism Destinations Data Banking B. Scope Of Work & Deliverables 1. Social Media Manager • Manages All Social Media Accounts Of Department Of Tourism Xi • Direct Communication And Coordination To Client Scheduling And Publishing Of Posts Research And Copywriting • Overall Management Of Dot Xi Social Media Profiles Terms And Conditions Of The Company 1) The Selected Provider Shall Be Subject To Assessment Of The Dot Xi As To The Effectiveness Of Any Phrase Of The Digital Management Project; 2) The Firm Shall Submit Regular Reports Detailing Work Progress, Issues And Concerns, And Recommend Next Steps In Relation To The Project As Part Of The Deliverables; 3) The Dot Reserves The Right To Change, Suspend Or Discontinue Temporarily Or Permanently The Contract At Any Time Should Be Dot Deemed The Company Incapable The Project. 4) Reporting To The Regional Director Of The Department Of Tourism Xi , The Service Provider Will Work Under The Supervision/collaboration Of A Designated Personnel Of Dot Xi ., The Following Minimum Qualifications Shall Be The Basis In Selecting The Most Appropriate Service Provider: 1) Must Be Based Within Davao City; 2) Must Be Philgeps- Registered; 3) Willing To Accept "send Bill" Payment Arrangement With Dot Xi; 4) Must Have Experience In Handling Government Events Within The Last 4 Years; 5) Must Be Amenable To A "send Bill" Arrangement For Payment 6) Must Be In The Line Of Business Of Advertising, Creative Arts And Entertainment Activities And Post Production Services 7) Must Have Experience In Livestream, Social Media Marketing And Management, Event Organizing, Marketing Consultancy And Printing Services. 8) Have A Good Rapport With The Previous Clients And Easy To Approach On Any Changes Or Edit Without Charges; 9) Must Have Previous Experiences In Communication, Public Relations, And Social Media Management For Government Activities And Events.
