Description Technical Specifications National Tourism Development Plan [ntdp] Rollout And Formulation Of M&e Framework Workshop - Visayas Cluster (event Venue With Meals) I. Proposed Date: April 3-5, 2024 (including Pre And Post Event Activities) Ii. Proposed Venue: Iloilo City Iii. Background: In Line With The Completion Of The Ntdp 2023 – 2028, There Is A Need To Formally Orient The Regional Stakeholders Regarding Its Directives. There Is Also A Need To Formulate A Monitoring And Evaluation Framework For Its Implementation Towards The Attainment Of The New Ntdp’s Vision. The Main Objective Of The Activity Is To Consult And Work With Some Of The Local Stakeholders Of Luzon To Come Up With A System That Assures The Implementation Of The Ntdp In The Destinations, And For It To Be Mainstream In The Programs And Projects Of Partner Agencies. Purpose/objectives: • Pursuant To The Implementing Rules And Regulations Of Republic Act No. 9593, The Main Objective Of The Project Is To Cascade The Ntdp To The Local Level For Implementation, Specifically Provincial And Local Government Units, To Provide Alignment Of Direction For The Development And Promotion Of Tourism. Further, Identification And Profiling Of Ntdp Indicators Will Significantly Aid Lgu Tourism Planning Activities, And Thus Promote The Shared Responsibility Between Agencies And Institutions In The Attainment Of National Goals.
