Description Technical Specifications Puerto Princesa – Iloilo X Guimaras Travel Exchange I. Proposed Date: May 17-21, 2024 Ii. Proposed Venue: Iloilo And Guimaras Iii. Background: The Department Of Tourism Shall Be The Primary Planning, Programming, Coordinating, Implementing And Regulatory Government Agency In The Development And Promotion Of The Tourism Industry, Both Domestic And International, In Coordination With Attached Agencies And Other Government Instrumentalities. This Travex Is In Line With The Iloxceb-pps Travel Exchange Last October 10-14, 2022 Hosted By The Dot Mimaropa. This Activity Will Help Continue To Increase Awareness And Demand For Travel Including Sales Of Accommodation And Tours Between The Provinces Of Palawan, Iloilo And Guimaras And Ensure That These Areas Are Ready To Be Promoted As A Complimentary Circuit To The Both The Domestic And International Arena. Further, This Initiative Will Strengthen The Iloilo X Guimaras - Puerto Princesa, Palawan Travel Routes; Conduct Travel Exchange And Business-to-business Matching With The Tour Operators Of The Invited Provinces For Coordinating Protocols And Exchanging Market Updates In Linking Tourism Products To Other Segments Of The Value Chain, And Further Promote New And Emerging Products In The Region.
