Description Orientation On Updated Progressive Accreditation System (upas) For The Province Of Cavite Ii. Purpose/objective The Tourism Development And Regulation Division Of Dot Region Iv-a Is Need Of Dot Accredited Travel And Tour Agency Engaged In The Business Arranging Accommodation, Meals, Land Transfers And Other Arrangement To Conduct The Orientation On The Updated Progressive Accreditation System (upas) For The Province Of Cavite. In Line With The Mandate Given To The Regional Office Under R.a. 9593 Or The Tourism Act Of 2009 To Conduct Information Campaign, Implement Laws, Policies, Rules And Regulations Of The Department, Particularly Those Relating To Compliance Therewith, And To The Accreditation Of Tourism Enterprises. With The New Guidelines Of The Upas There Will Be An Increase Of Dot Accredited Primary Enterprises Which Are Required To Have Accreditation Prior To Issuance Of Business Permit Under The Ra 9593. The Local Government Units Will Be Equipped To Assess Their Respective Stakeholders To Comply With The Standards Prior To Application For Dot Accreditation. The Orientation Will Be Participated By Tourism Stakeholders Along With Their Respective Tourism Officers. Iii. Minimum Requirement For Suppliers • Must Be A Dot-accredited Service Provider (travel And Tour Agency). Venue Of The Orientation Will Be In Tagaytay Area. • Must Be Willing To Provide Services On A Send-bill Arrangement, With Breakdown Of Actual Expense Iv. Approved Budget For Contract The Approved Budget For Contract For The Orientation Of Updated Progressive Accreditation System Is One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-eight Pesos (php 117,438.00) Vi. Legal Documents 1. Valid Business / Mayor’s Permit 2. Philgeps Registration / Number 3. Omnibus Sworn Statement Vii. Terms Of Payment • Payment Shall Be Made To The Supplier Not Less Than Thirty (30) Working Days After The Project Has Been Completed • The Payment Shall Be On A Send Bill Arrangement, Which Shall Be Settled Upon Submission Of The Statement Of Account With A Breakdown Of Expenses And Other Payment Documents After The Project Has Been Completed • Payment Shall Be Based On Actual Expenses Incurred But Not To Exceed One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-eight Pesos Only (₱117,438.00) For The Total Actual Cost Of Services Rendered Inclusive Of Vat And Other Taxes.
