Description Background As Enunciated By The Tourism Act Of 2009 “tourism Is An Indispensable Element Of The National Economy, And An Industry Of National Interest And Importance”, And Consistent With The Priorities Of The Administration Of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., This National Tourism Development Plan For 2023-2028 Shall “establish A Philippine Tourism Industry Anchored On Filipino Culture, Heritage, And Identity, Which Aims To Be Sustainable, Resilient, And Competitive, In Order To Transform The Philippines Into A Tourism Powerhouse In Asia.” One Of The Goals Of The Ntdp 2023-2028 Is Maximization Of Domestic Tourism. From The Philippine Statistics Authority’s (psa) 2019 Data, Tourism Generated 12.7% Of Gdp (measuring Direct And Indirect Effects) And 13.6% Of National Employment. Domestic Tourism Accounted For 84% Of The Economic Value Of Tourism In Our Country. Domestic Tourism Is Thus An Underappreciated But Crucial Part Of Our National Economy. Domestic Travel Must Thus Be More Systematically Monitored And Studied, And Comprehensively Supported And Encouraged, Not Only To Revive The Tourism Industry And Many Local Economies But Also For Long-term Resilience And Growth. With The Continuous Pursuit Of The Regional Office To Promote Tourism In The Region And Connect With The Ncr And Central Luzon Travel Market, Dot Region Iv-a Will Be Joining The 8th World Travel Expo (wte) At One Ayala Trade Hall, Makati City And North Philippines Tourism And Travel Expo 2024 (npe) At Sm City Clark, Angeles City Both Happening On October 18 – 20, 2024. The Regional Office Will Be Requiring The Services Of A Company Engaged In The Business Of Booth Rental, Designing, And Setting Up Booths For Travel And Consumer Fairs. The Set-up Of The Booth Aims To Attain The Following Objectives: A. Generate Positive “name Recall” Of Calabarzon And Promote The Region’s Tourism Products; B. Attract And Encourage Consumer, Press, And Travel Guests To Visit The Calabarzon Booth; C. Provide A Highly Functional Yet Visually Appealing Area For Provision Of Calabarzon Tourism Information, Product Updates, Audio Visual Presentations, Tabletop Business Meetings, And Other Interactive Activities.
