Description Procurement Of Promo Materials For The Conduct Of Regional Tour Guides Training In Region 1 On May 15 To June 15, 2024 I. Rationale It Requires Adequate Knowledge And Skills To Interpret The Wonders Of Nature And Man-made Destinations To Be Able To Impart To Tourists What Region 1 Can Offer. This Project Will Solve The Lack Of Regional Tour Guides In Region 1. The Program Will Have Scheduled Face To Face And Online Classes Throughout The Month. Weekends And Holidays May Be Used For Research Purposes. Experience Is A Part Of The Tourism Product. Ensuring That Tourists Get The Whole Positive Value Of The Product, Quality Service Is Needed For The Long-term Sustainability Of A Tourism Destination. As New Trends Emerge Globally, Our Tourism Practitioners Need To Keep Up To Maintain The Standards And Be Competent Enough In The International Market. Ii. Objectives • To Provide The Trainees With Skills In Improving Their Interpretative Skills In Regional Guiding. • To Achieve High Standards Of Selection, Training And Certification Of All Regional Guide Practitioners In The Country; • To Strengthen Private And Public Partnership In Delivering Efficiency Services To The Public. Iii. Project Duration The Project Will Commence Upon Signing Of The Service Contract Between The Department Of Tourism-regional Office 1 And The Winning Bidder And Upon The Winning Bidder’s Receipt Of The Notice To Proceed. Iv.project Requirements And Deliverables   The training Will Be Conducted With The Following Logistical Requirements As Follows:  A. Provision Of Customized Uniforms – 40 Pieces. Vest, Size Varies According To Participants Size With Dot Logo, Find The One In Region 1 Logo And Thunderbird Logo B. Provision Of 30 Portable Lapel Microphone With Voice Amplifier And Speaker C. Provision Of Printing The “find The One In Region 1 And Dot Logo” To 30 Pieces Of Ltp Eco Bags. Note: Ltp Eco Bags Will Be Provided. Printing Only D. Provision Of 10 Sets Of Graduation Tokens For Guests. V. Working Arrangements A. The Supplier Shall Render Deliverables On The Agreed Timeline. B. Any Change In The Designs Require Consultation With Dot R1; C. Payment Shall Be Made Upon The Supplier’s Satisfactory Completion Of The Deliverables. Vi. Minimum Requirements For Bidders The Provider Must Be Eligible To The Following Qualifications: A. Valid Mayor’s/business Permit B. Must Be Philgeps Registered; C.
