Description Terms Of Reference Procurement Of Promo Materials For The Community Guiding Seminar And Homestay Pilipinas Training In Bacnotan, La Union And San Fernando City, La Union Respectively I. Ii. Rationale Community Guiding Seminar This Program Seeks To Involve The Community In The Efforts Of Promoting And Developing Our Community-based Tourism To Create Opportunities And Generate Jobs And Provide Quality Service To The Tourists. Homestay Pilipinas This Training Program Is Envisioned To Be A Three-day Workshop For Residential Owners In The Regions To Learn And Adopt Formal And Systematic Procedures In Accommodation Of Tourists Through A Basic Course On Innkeeping And Its Other Related Concepts Objectives Community Guiding Seminar • To Equip The Participants With The Knowledge And Ability To Assist, Facilitate, Entertain, And Guidethe Tourists And Visitors Who Will Visittheir City/ Municipality; And • To Provide Livelihood Opportunities And Enhance Resource Capability For Tourism Homestay Pilipinas • Following The Thrust Of The Government In Countryside Development, The Department Of Tourism Deems Relevant A Homestay Program For Residential Accommodations Catering To Tourists Especially In Destinations Where There Is A Dearth In Accommodation Facilities. • To Ensure That The Participant Homeowners Would Benefit From The Host-visitor Encounter Experience, A Training Program Is Deemed Necessary To Equip The Homeowners With The Basic Knowledge In Catering To The Lodging Requirements Oftourists. Iii. Iv. Project Duration The Project Will Commence Upon Signing Of The Service Contract Between The Department Of Tourism-regional Office 1 And The Winning Bidder And Upon The Winning Bidder’s Receipt Of The Notice To Proceed. Project Requirements And Deliverables The training Will Be Conducted With The Following Logistical Requirements As Follows:  A. Provision Of Bucket Hat With Find The One In Region 1 And Dot Logo– 150 Pieces B. Provision Of Bath Towel With Find The One In Region One Logo- 50 Pieces V. Working Arrangements A. The Supplier Shall Render Deliverables On The Agreed Timeline. B. Any Change In The Designs Require Consultation With Dot R1; C. Payment Shall Be Made Upon The Supplier’s Satisfactory Completion Of The Deliverables. Vi. Minimum Requirements For Bidders The Provider Must Be Eligible To The Following Qualifications: A. Valid Mayor’s/business Permit B. Must Be Philgeps Registered; C. Willing To Provide Services On A Send-bill Arrangement; D. Quotation Must Be Inclusive Of Taxes (dot-r1 Has The Full Authority To Withhold Taxes And Tax Certificates To Be Issued On Payments) Viii. Budget The Procurement Of Promotional Materials For The Community Guiding Seminar In Bacnotan, La Union And Homestay Pilipinas In San Fernando City, La Union Is Eighty Two Thousand And Five Hundred Pesos Only (82,500.00) Inclusive Of All Applicable Government Taxes, In A Send-bill Arrangement (government Procedure).
