Project Procurement Of A Service Provider For Tour Coordination Services For The Participation Of The Department Of Tourism Region 1 In The Mindanao Tourism Expo On April 25- 28, 2024 And Travex With Region 10 On April 29-may 1, 2024 (inclusive Of Travel Dates On April 25 And May 1, 2024) Ii. Background The Mindanao Tourism Expo (mtex) Is Organized By The Department Of Tourism Region 10 Together With The Northern Mindanao Region. This Will Be Participated By 15 Dot Regional Offices, Barmm, Private Entities And Travel And Tours From Luzon, Visayas And Mindanao. The Mtex Goals Are To Promote Tourism Growth, Enhance Regional Tourism Linkages, And Showcase The Diverse Cultural Heritage And Tourism Potentials Of Mindanao. The Event Components Are The Following: A. Tourism Exposition - Daily Encounter And Selling At The Booth Area B. Business Meetings - This Activity Will Be For Market Updates And Networking Activities With The Mindanao Stakeholders As Sellers And The Luzon And Visayas Tourism Players As The Buyers. This Will Also Rebuild And Strengthen Linkages Between The Stakeholders Of The Participating Regions. C. Tourism Updates- There Will Be Product Presentations On Stage For The Whole Duration Of The Expo. D. Travel Exchange- Aims To Provide Product Updates For Our Tourism Stakeholders Through First-hand Experience Of The Newly Developed Products And Circuits In Their Respective Mindanao Host Region.
