Background Rationale The Department Of Tourism Through The Branding And Marketing Office In Collaboration With Dot Regional Offices Has Been Diligently Working To Promote Our Beautiful Country With Our Banner Tagline Love The Philippines Into Executing Events And Experiential Marketing Activities. The Activations Will Include At Least 16 Event Activations Based On The Approved Events Marketing Communications Plan. All Events And Activations Must Align With The Love The Philippines Brand And Must Conform With The Love The Philippines Integrated Marketing Campaign Highlighting The Identified Brand Pillars. L O V E – - - - For Celebrating Love For Biodiversity Through Sustainable Tourism For Celebrating Love For Award Winning Destinations Through Imagery For Celebrating Love For Heritage And Festivals Through Music For Celebrating Love For Food And Gastronomy The Philippines Offers A Beautiful Amalgamation Of Different Kinds Of Life Through Its Rich Biodiversity. As One Of The 18 Most Biodiverse Countries In The World, The Philippines Has Two-thirds Of The Earth’s Biodiversity With 70% And 80% Of The World’s Plant And Animal Species, Respectively. The Country Is Fifth In Terms Of Plant Species And Has 5% Of The World’s Flora. Region 1 Is The Pilot Region For The Love Biodiversity Campaign Launch, Which Will Be Held On July 15, 2024. It Will Feature The Long Been Practicing Various Sustainable Efforts To Protect The Region’s Abundant Wildlife. This Is What We Want To Showcase In Our Events Alongside Our Rich Flora And Fauna Of The Province Of La Union. The Event Will Also Highlight The Unveiling Of A Specially Commissioned Mural By Local Artists, Celebrating The Region's Rich Biodiversity And Sustainability Initiatives. Highlight The Mural. The Love Biodiversity Campaign Launch In Region 1 Will Feature The Bakawan Eco Tourism Park In Bauang, La Union And The Taratara Forest Of Naguilian, La Union. Activities Will Also Include Tree Planting And Forest Bathing. The Event Will Also Showcase The Rich Cultural Heritage, Traditional Dances And Foods Of Both Municipalities. The Event Will Be Participated By Dot Officials, Province Of La Union Officials, Municipalities Of Bauang And Naguilian Officials, Philtoa Board Of Trustees, San Miguel Corp Infra Officials, Bauang Tourism Council, Region 1 Tourism Council, National And Local Media, Tourism Associations And Region 1 Stakeholders And National Government Agency Partners.
