Description Project: 7 Th Annual Dot Tourism Development Workshop: Digital Transformation For Sustainable Tourism Development Requirement: Procurement Of Ground Handling Services I. Background And Objective The Office Of Tourism Development Planning, Research And Information Management (otdprim) Will Be Conducting The 7th Annual Tourism Development Workshop (tdw7) With The Theme Digital Transformation For Sustainable Development On May 6-10, 2024 In Bolinao, Pangasinan. The Tdw Will Be Held For Five (5) Days Inclusive Of Travel Time And To Be Participated By The Planning And Statistics Units Of The Dot Regional Offices And Otdprim. The Workshop Shall Capacitate And Update Dot’s Planning And Statistics Officers On Incorporating Digitalization As A Strategic Approach To Sustainable Tourism Development. It Shall Also Capacitate Them Regarding Innovations That Would Digitize Some Planning Elements, Database Building Including Monitoring And Implementation, And Product Development. Tdw Shall Be A Venue To Discuss Collegially Strategies On How To Smoothly Transition To A More Connected Tourism Sector That Ensures Resilience And Sustainability, Thereby Meeting The Demands Of Local Tourism Stakeholders And Visitors. Historically, The Tdw Is Hosted By Different Regions Every Year Which Started As An Omnibus Planning And Statistics Workshops For Dot Regional Planning Units And Has Become A Venue For Rich Sharing Of Ideas And Learnings. Now On Its Seventh Year, This Year’s Venue Choice To Be In Bolinao, Pangasinan Is Ideal As It Supports The Strategic Approach The Ntdp Is Espousing. Bringing The Regional Planning Officers And Some Executives From The Department Will Be A Big Boost To Its Marketing And Promotion. It Will Also Be A Good Opportunity To Showcase And Learn From One Of The 15 Lgu Finalists Of The Tourism Champions Challenge, To Which Bolinao Placed 3rd For Luzon.
