Rationale It Requires Adequate Knowledge And Skills To Interpret The Wonders Of Nature And Man-made Destinations To Be Able To Impart To Tourists What Region 1 Can Offer. This Project Will Solve The Lack Of Regional Tour Guides In Region 1. The Program Will Have Scheduled Face To Face And Online Classes Throughout The Month. Weekends And Holidays May Be Used For Research Purposes. Experience Is A Part Of The Tourism Product. Ensuring That Tourists Get The Whole Positive Value Of The Product, Quality Service Is Needed For The Long-term Sustainability Of A Tourism Destination. All Related Activities By The Travel Agency & Tour Operator Must Be Done In Accordance With Dot Regional Office’s Rules And Regulations. C. The Agency/operator Shall Render Deliverables On The Agreed Timeline. D. All Data, Materials, Documentation And Reports Are Considered The Property Of The Dot Regional Office And Shall Be Formally Turned Over By The Tour Operator To The Dot Regional Office. The Use Of Outputs For This Engagement Requires Prior Approval From The Dot Regional Office. E. The Dot Regional Office Shall Designate A Support Team That Will Work Closely With The Travel/tour Operator Regarding The Technical And Administrative Requirements Of The Project, Including Monitoring Of The Progress Of Project Activities; F. Payment Shall Be Made Upon The Travel/tour Operator’s Satisfactory Completion Of The Deliverables. Vi. Minimum Requirements For Bidders The Provider Must Be Eligible To The Following Qualifications: A. Valid Mayor’s/business Permit B. Must Be Dot Accredited Travel/tour Agency; C. Certificate Of Philgeps Registration/number D. Willing To Provide Services On A Send-bill Arrangement; E. Amenable For Date Changes; F. Quotation Must Be Inclusive Of Taxes (dot-r1 Has The Full Authority To Withhold Taxes And Tax Certificates To Be Issued On Payments) G. Latest Income Tax Return Viii. Budget The Training Provider Fee For The Regional-tour Guides Training In Region 1 On May 15 – June 15, 2024 Is Nine Hundred Eighty-nine Thousand Pesos (php 989,000.00) Inclusive Of All Applicable Government Taxes, In A Send-bill Arrangement (government Procedure).
