Description 1. The Float’s Over-all Appearance Will Convey The Theme Of The Festival Which Is “blossoms Beyond Boundaries” As Well As Mainly Promote The Department’s Tourism Branding Tagline “love The Philippines”. 2. The Float Will Carry The Logo Of The Department Of Tourism As The Main Logo, And Will Also Include The Logo Of The “love The Philippines” Logo And The “find Yourself In The Cordilleras” Logo As The Regional Tagline Being Promoted By The Dot-car; 3. The Logos Will Be Integrated In The Design And Will Be Rendered In Flowers Or Other Natural Materials. 4. The Float Will Be At Least 90% Decorated With Natural Materials And Vegetation And Any Artificial Materials That Will Be Used In The Float Construction (e.g. Florist Foam; Wires, Plastics, Etc.) Will Not Be Visible; 5. The Float Will Be Entered Into The Big Floats Category (minimum Dimension Of 10 Feet In Height And 10 Feet In Width With A Maximum Of 12 Feet In Height And 12 Feet In Width; Minimum Length Is 20 Feet Up To 40 Feet). The Float Will Conform To Such Specifications. 6. The Length Of The Float Will Be Governed By The Proper Proportion Of The Design And Will Be Constructed That It Will Be Able To Make The 90-degree Turn At Intersections Without Delaying The Forward Motion Of The Parade Or Causing Potential Hazards. 7. Dye Flowers And Other Vegetation Appropriate For The Float Design Will Be Allowed In The Float Design, But The Use Of Any Type Of Paint Will Not Be Allowed, 8. Streamers And Placards Will Not Be Used In The Float. 9. The Design Will Consider That The Wheels Of The Float Will Not Be Seen. 10. Float Design And Materials Used Will Remain Intact And Presentable At Least Twenty-four (24) Hours After The Parade. 11. The Supplier Will Furnish The Truck Intended For The Float, Complete With A Designated Truck Driver And Manpower To Assist Along Route. The Associated Rental Costs Will Be Covered By The Supplier. 12. Manpower (with Costumes Appropriate For The Float Design) Will Be Provided By The Supplier During The Day Of The Parade To Help Assist In Manning The Float.
