The bidder is required to have prior work experience of completing at least one contract of the same type of work in the same name and style as a prime contractor, with a magnitude of at least 30% of the amount put to tender of the proposed contract within the last 5 years. Alternatively, the bidder can have completed 2 similar nature of work, each of minimum value of 25% of the estimated amount put to tender during the last 5 years. For Road works excluding Bituminous work, the credential required is 30% of Rs. 2,60,88,351.59, which is Rs. 78,26,505.48. The bidder needs to provide certificates from an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent for the successful completion of these contracts. The bidder's experience in civil engineering works is a significant factor in determining their bid capacity, and they should have a track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously and completing them within stipulated periods. The bidder should have achieved annual turnover in any of the year over the last five years (excluding current FY) with 50% of which being from civil engineering construction works and equivalent. Specifically, 60% of the amount put to bid is required if the amount put to bid is Rs.200 lakhs and less. For works valued more than 1 Cr, a Bank Credit Certificate of 10% of the Amount put to tender should be provided.
