Description Title : Enhancement Of Three Spring Boxes, Repair Of Three Intake Boxes & Clear Any Blockages Within The 2-inch Delivery Pipes From Spring Box To Intake Box Location : Barangay Canjela, Castilla, Sorsogon A. Project Duration: 15 Days B. Scope Of Work The Project Aims To Maintain And Enhance The Efficiency And Durability Of The Water Distribution System By Addressing Critical Infrastructure Needs. This Includes Improving Three Spring Boxes And Repairing Three Intake Boxes, Which Are Essential For Ensuring A Continuous Water Supply Despite Signs Of Wear From Prolonged Use. Additionally, Constructing A Retaining Wall And Concreting The Entry Side Of The Spring Will Help Prevent Further Erosion And Worsening Of Existing Damage. The Project Also Includes Declogging The Delivery Pipes Installed As Part Of The 2020 Spring Development. I. Enhancement Of Three Spring Boxes 1. Prior To Construction Coordination With Stakeholder Beneficiaries Shall Be Conducted. 2. Clearing And Leveling Of The Surrounding Area To Prepare For Construction. 3. Digging Foundation Trenches Based On Design Specifications To Ensure The Wall’s Stability. 4. Construction Of A Concrete Retaining Wall With The Necessary Dimensions And Reinforcement To Effectively Prevent Erosion. 5. Use High-quality Cement, Aggregates, And Steel Reinforcement To Meet Durability And Strength Standards, Applying A Class B Mixture. 6. Use # 10mm Rsb Spacing @ 0.25 M O.c.bw 7. Installation Of 2 ” Diameter Weep Holes Or Drainage Pipes, If Necessary, To Manage Water Flow And Prevent Hydrostatic Pressure Buildup Behind The Wall. 8. Concreting The Entry Portion Of The Spring And The Sides Of The Wall To Cover The 4 Inches Diameter Blue Pvc Pipe, With Small Walls Installed To Flow The Water From The Scattered Water Sources To The Spring Box. 9. Replacement Of Gate Valve (brass) 2” . 10. Restoring The Surrounding Area Post-construction To Minimize Environmental Impact. 11. Adhere To The Project Timeline. Ii. Repair Of Three Intake Boxes 1. Prior To Construction Coordination With Stakeholder Beneficiaries Shall Be Conducted 2. Replacement Of Damaged G.i. Pipes 2” Diameter Sched 40. 3. Replacement Of Damaged Reducers 2-1”. 4. Replacement Of Two (2) Gate Valve (brass) 2” . 5. Ensure All Repairs Are Made With Durable, High-quality Materials In Compliance With Relevant Construction And Safety Standards. Iii. Clear Any Blockages Within The 2-inch Delivery Pipes From Spring Box To Intake Box 1. Clean The Spring And Intake Boxes To Remove Dirt. 2. Use Appropriate Equipment And Methods To Clear Any Detected Blockages In The Delivery Pipes. 3. Test The Entire Length Of The Delivery System After Clearing To Ensure Water Flows Freely From The Spring Box To The Intake Box
