The Department Of Communities (communities) Is Providing The Sector With The Opportunity To Review The Regional Family Support Hub - South West (the Hub) Draft Request For Tender Document To Ensure The Intent Of The Request Is Clear And Understood By Potential Respondents. This Draft For Comment Opportunity Does Not Allow For Material Changes To The Request For Tender. Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations Are Strongly Encouraged To Comment On This Request For Tender. The Hub Will Provide A Continuum Of Service Supports Focused On Diverting Children From The Child Protection System Through To Keeping Children Safe At Home And Supporting Children To Return To Live Safely In The Care Of Their Families (reunification). Supports Will Be Provided To Both Aboriginal And Non-aboriginal Families Who Are Experiencing Disadvantage, Complex Challenges, And Trauma, Including Intergenerational Trauma. Supports Within The Hub Include Practical Parenting Education And Life Skills Development For Parents And/or Pre-birth Families, Focusing On Life Skills, Child Mental Health, Education, Safety, And Protective Behaviour Skills. Three (3) Service Streams Will Be Delivered From The Hub: Stream 1: Support Network; Stream 2: Community Intensive Case Management; And Stream 3: Regional Intensive Support.
