The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid having value is specified as follows: For Roof Top Solar Power Project works upto Rs. 5.00 Crores: a) Achieved a minimum annual financial turnover (in all classes solar Power plant project only with providing Electrical work) equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three (3) financial years immediately preceding the Financial Year in which bids are invited. b) Satisfactorily completed in the last five (5) years ending last day of month previous to the one in which bids are invited as a prime Contractor (or as a nominated sub Contractor, where the subcontract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document, provided further that all other qualification criteria are satisfied) one similar work of value not less than: - 80% of the estimated cost of work - or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work - or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work The specific bid capacity formula is: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A* N* 2 - B) Where A = Maximum value of Electrical Engineering works executed in any one year (year means Financial year) during the last five years (updated to the price level of the Financial year in which bids are received at a rate per year as indicated in the BDS) taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the Project/Works for which these bids are being invited. (e.g. 7 months = 7/12 year) B = Value (updated to the price level of the year indicated in BDS) of existing commitments (only allotted works) on the last date of submission of bids as per bidding document and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the Project/Works for which these bids are being invited. Additionally, the formulas provided for price adjustment are: 1. Adjustment for Bitumen Component: Vb = Pb x (Bi-B0) 2. Adjustment for Cement Component: Vc = Nc x Rc (Ci-C0)/C0 Other requirements include: - Minimum turn over amount: Rs. 18.5 Cr. in any one of the Last Three years. - Minimum value of similar works required: - One similar work: Rs. 41975200/- (80% of the estimated cost) - Two similar works (each): Rs. 26234500/- (50% of the estimated cost) - Three similar works (each): Rs. 20987600/- (40% of the estimated cost) - Minimum liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities: Rs. (actual amount not specified, but mentioned in ITB 4.3 B (e)) - An undertaking regarding available bid capacity is required as per ITB 4.3 C (a). - The value shall be updated at a simple rate of 8% per annum as per ITB 4.4.
