The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - At least one “similar work” of value of ₹138.89 lakh or more - At least two “similar works” each of value of ₹86.81 lakh or more - At least three “similar works” each of value of ₹69.45 lakh or more The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works, with substantial completion being 80% (value wise) or more works completed under the contract. In case of joint venture/ Consortium, the lead partner must have a minimum of 26% participation and experience in executing at least one similar work of value ₹69.45 lakhs or more. Each non-substantial partner should have a minimum of 20% participation and experience in executing at least one civil work of minimum value ₹34.72 lakhs. For a foreign partner in a JV/Consortium, they must have executed works of total value ₹69.45 lakh or more outside the country of the foreign partner. The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works in the last five years. Additionally, the bidder should not have been penalized with liquidated damages of 10% (or more) of the contract value due to delay nor imposed with a penalty of 10% (or more) of the contract value due to any other reason in any Civil Engineering works of value more than 10% of the NIT cost of work, during the last three years. The bidder should also not have suffered bankruptcy/insolvency during the last 5 years and should not have total pending litigation amounting to more than 50% of their net worth.
