The bid capacity required for a bidder to be eligible for this tender is calculated using the formula: Bid capacity = AxNx1.5 - B, where A = Maximum annual turnover in any one year during the last five years (updated to 2023-24 price level), N = Number of years prescribed for completion of works for which bids are invited, and B = Value, at price 2023-24 level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the works for which bids are invited. The bid capacity should be more than the total bid value. Additionally, the bidder should have annual turnover of 1.50 times the value of work in any one of the last five years. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid capacity = (A x N x 1.5 - B). The bidder must also meet the minimum qualification criteria, including similar completed works, average annual financial turnover, and working capital. The specific formulas for calculating the required bid capacity based on the estimated cost (EC) of the tender are: - For similar works: - 3 works * 0.4 * EC (for option a) - 2 works * 0.5 * EC (for option b) - 1 work * 0.8 * EC (for option c) - For average annual financial turnover: 0.5 * EC - For working capital: 0.3 * EC.
