City Of North Vancouver Tender

The City Of North Vancouver’s (cnv) Successful Application To The Government Of Canada’s Housing Accelerator Fund (haf), Administered By The Canada Mortgage And Housing Corporation (cmhc), Has Resulted In A Grant Of $18.6m. The Funding Will Help Cnv Build More Homes Faster – 530 Homes In Addition To Its Baseline Projection Of 1,350 Homes, By 2026. Local Governments Are Expected To Spend The Funding Received In Four Areas: Implementing The Initiatives, Supporting Delivery Of Affordable Housing, Building Infrastructure To Support Housing, Or Developing Community Related Infrastructure To Support Housing (amenities). To Achieve These Goals, Cnv Developed Nine Initiatives To Support The Building Of More Homes Faster. This Scope Of Work Pertains The Haf - Parking Reductions Initiative.   The Consultant Will Support And Contribute Towards The Parking Reductions Haf Initiative By Examining The Implications Of Implementing A Reduction Or Removal Of Vehicle Parking Requirements For Affordable Developments (housing With Shelter Costs Equal To Less Than 30% Of Total Before-tax Household Income) And Multi-unit Developments Within 400m Of Translink’s Frequent Transit Network (ftn).
