This Request For Information (“rfi”) Is Issued By The Corporation Of The City Of Kitchener (“the City”) For The Purposes Of Gathering Information About The Marketplace In Order To Assist In The Determination Of Future Purchasing Options Or Requirements. The City Of Kitchener Owns And Operates Six Cemeteries, Including Williamsburg Cemetery, Located At 1541 Fischer-hallman Road. Williamsburg Cemetery Is Known For Its Serene, Park-like Setting, Featuring Amenities Such As Bird Watching At The Wetlands, Catch-and-release Fishing At The Pond, A Healing Meditative Walkway, And A Hiking Trail Through Trillium Woods. Additionally, The Williamsburg Dedication Centre, Situated On The Premises, Offers Space For Various Events Including Meetings, Memorial Services, And Weddings. The Back Portion Of The Williamsburg Dedication Centre Previously Housed The Williamsburg Crematorium, Which Ceased Operations In February 2021 Due To The End-of-lifecycle Condition Of The Equipment. The City Of Kitchener Is Now Seeking To Lease This Vacant Space, Which Comprises Of Approximately 1,200 Square Feet, And A Garage/cooler Room.
