Tenders are invited for FY20 - Stormwater Rehabilitation Program Description: The City of Gainesville is requesting individual sealed Bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the FY20 - Stormwater Rehabilitation Program. The Project will consist of four stormwater rehabilitation projects including; Furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary for stormwater systems upgrades at four locations, including all necessary traffic control, milling, paving, and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete the work. All together the project consists of installing 1150 LF of storm pipe, approximately 700 LF of sanitary sewer pipe, and 850 LF of curb and gutter in addition to catch basins, storm and sanitary sewer manholes. Two (2) stormwater pond rehabilitations including retrofitting of the outlet control structures are also included in the project scope. Pre-qualification of Bidders is required for the FY20 - Stormwater Rehabilitation Program. Beginning on Monday December 14, 2020, a copy of the application and qualification requirements can be obtained, via email from the Project Manager at csjones@gainesvillega.gov. Completed pre-qualification applications for Bids will be received at the office of the Department of Water Resources (DWR) Engineering and Construction Services Division Attn: Mr. Corey Jones, 300 Henry Ward Way, Suite 305, Gainesville, GA 30501 until 5:00 p.m., local time, Friday, January 8, 2021. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held for all Bidders on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Midtown Conference Room at 300 Henry Ward Way, 3 rd Floor, Suite 305, Gainesville, Georgia. Only Bidders in attendance for the entire meeting will be allowed to submit a Bid.
