Tenders are invited for the construction of the Park Street Drainage Improvement Project Description: Sealed Bids for the construction of the Park Street Drainage Improvement Project will be received by The Honorable Phillip Moudy at the office of the Danville City Hall, P.O. Box 69, 1299 E. 8th Street, Danville, Arkansas 72833 until 10:00 AM local time on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of storm drainage improvements along Park Avenue and inside A.D. Morris City Park. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Southern Reprographics, Inc., 901 West 7th Street, Little Rock, AR, 72201; Ph: (501) 372-4011, FAX: (501) 372-2902. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Due to COVID-19 precautions, examination of documents at City or Engineers office are by appointment only. Bidding Documents also may be examined at; the office of Danville City Hall, Danville, Arkansas, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.; and the office of the Engineer, Landmark Engineering, 287 South Broadview, Suite C-2, Greenbrier, Arkansas 72058, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Any questions related to the project shall be referred to the Engineer and submitted in writing. Printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is cost of reproduction, shipping and handling, per set, payable to Southern Reprographics , plus a non-refundable shipping charge. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
