The City Of Castlegar Is Seeking A Proposal For Engineering Consulting Services For A Three Year Contract. This Request For Proposal (the “rfp”) Is An Invitation By The City Of Castlegar (“the City”) For Qualified Consulting Firms For The Provision Of Engineering Services To Deliver Various Projects The City Pursues Through Established Budgets Which Include But Are Not Limited To The Preparation Of Plans, Specifications And Designs Ranging From Conceptual To Issued For Construction, Cost Estimates And Project Management For New Infrastructure And Operations Related Projects. The City Wishes To Enter Into A Three (3) Year Agreement With A Qualified Firm For Consulting And Engineering Services, Supplementing In‐house Staff Capabilities. Upon Mutual Written Agreement Of The Parties, This Agreement May Be Extended For An Additional One (1) Year Period. Such Extension May Occur No More Than Twice, For A Maximum Total Term, Including Extensions, Of Five (5) Years. Any Agreement To Extend Must Be Made In Writing And Executed By Both Parties Prior To The Expiration Of The Then-current Term
